About Wyatt
I’m Matthew Wyatt Spicer, a Dallas-based graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication and a certificate in UX/UI Research & Design. My portfolio spans UX case studies, web builds, digital fabrication, audio production, video, and experimental media.
I’m strongest in the space between creative concepting and practical execution. I can research a user problem, map the experience, write the copy, design the interface, build the front end, and still care about whether the final thing has a pulse.
My background in service work, music, video, and comedy also gives me a useful design instinct: people do not experience products as flowcharts. They experience them as moods, decisions, frustrations, expectations, and tiny moments of relief.
